Seaton Precision Engineering situated in
Kidderminster, Worcestershire, United Kingdom are specialist
precision engineers.
We are a specialist company with a focus on
lost wax tooling for various foundries to produce castings
by the lost wax process. The company is very experienced and
a recognized leader in this lost wax tooling process says
the MD is Richard Stone.
To explain the type of work we do and in turn
use the OneCNC software for we have selected an example of
our work. In this example we are showing here a lost wax
tool for a boat propeller just completed. This sophisticated
tool although for just for a impeller for a boat is not as
simple as it looks.
This tool is quite sophisticated because it
was designed and made to make various number of impeller
fins. These range from 10 deg to 24 deg of pitch and up to 5
blades in total. To accomplish this we designed the tool to
accept a complete range of interchangeable sliding cores.
This allows them to have different degrees of pitch form
thus giving different angles to give different amounts of
thrust and speed. |
